Football,a book, and lots of other randomness

It's Friday, boys & girls - yay, we made it to another weekend!  I hope you all have big plans.  Tonight, the husband and I plan to stay in catch up on our DVR (we may seriously need to re-evaluate the number of shows we watch in our house - seriously, no less than 3 shows are set to DVR every night and then there are shows that we watch that we don't DVR because they're On Demand, but I have no idea what we would cut out because we love all of them).  Tomorrow we have an 80th birthday celebration for one of his grandfathers.  Otherwise, the weekend is pretty wide open which is much appreciated since we've been out of town the past two weekends in a row.

I hope to finish reading this book - it's really good, but premier week hasn't left me with any time to finish it.

I hope to find some time tomorrow to watch these guys play (and hopefully win).

I also want to finish Abby's room (or at least finish the stuff that I can - I'm still waiting on some small stuff to get here), make this cake (I had planned to on Wednesday, but realized I didn't have enough brown sugar when I got home), catch up on thank you notes for the sweet gifts we've received for Abby, and relax.  It didn't sound like that much in my head when I was thinking about it, but now that it's all written down, I'm not sure all of these things are going to happen over 2 days - we'll see!  Have a great weekend, everyone!  See you Monday!
