Abby is 1 Month and I'm Quarantined

Of course I would come down with that nasty stomach virus that's making it's way around Nashville on Abby's 1 month birthday (I think the last time I got a stomach virus I was a small child just for the record and I'd forgotten just how unfun they really are).  And since she hasn't had any of her immunizations yet and our pediatrician told us that if she gets a fever before she's 2 months old she has to go straight to Vandy Children's and get a full workup including a spinal tap, the husband has banished me to our bedroom while he and my MIL (who's fabulous, btw) get to take care of my sweet girl.  This is so not how I wanted to spend her 1 month birthday - I mean I don't even get to take her 1 month picture with the bunny!  The only contact I get with the world outside our bedroom is to request more water or crackers and to let them know that Abby's next meal is ready for pickup.  And while it really sucks that I can't see her, it will be totally worth it as long as she doesn't end up sick.  So, maybe I'll use this time to catch up on blogs and to finish Abby's birth story.  We'll see how much energy I have.

Yuck, that bug is horrible! We all had it the week before Christmas. No fun at all.

That stinks...Especially since you thought you were safe. I sure hope I by pass the virus since I was hanging out with you guys last week. Although I could stand to loose a few pounds after all of my holiday eating...lol.

I hope you are feeling better! Use this time to sleep!

On a more inappropriate note, I would love to know how breastfeeding/pumping is going for you.
