Weekend Recap & 26 Week Bump-date

I hope everyone's having an "as good as can be expected for a Monday" Monday and that you all had a wonderful weekend.  We (I should say I because the husband played 3 games of kickball on Sunday) did absolutely nothing productive this weekend.  We went to the Music City BBQ Festival on Saturday only to find out that general admission does not include any actual BBQ (unless you buy it separately) - umm, I'm sorry, what kind of BBQ festival doesn't let you taste BBQ?  We're cheap so we opted against it and went to dinner at Demos' instead (since we had already paid to park downtown).  And Sunday was spent at the kickball tournament - they made it all the way to the semi-finals where they lost to the 1st seed team.

You'll notice that nowhere in the above paragraph does it mention the curtains for the master bedroom - that's because I'm just plain lazy and didn't work on them.  I've determined that I need to stop putting it on the blog as one of my weekend activities because I never seem to work on them when I say I'm going to.  I thought that by putting it on here it would hold me accountable - apparently, that is not the case!  So, the next time you will hear about said curtains will be when I actually decide to quit being completely worthless when I'm at home work on them!

Onto the bump-date...

How far along:  26 weeks

Stretch marks:  I still haven't found any - thank goodness!

Sleep:  It SUCKS.  I sleep all night, but I don't sleep good because I'm waking up everyday exhausted.

Best moment of the week:  Realizing that we're less than 100 days (97 to be exact) from meeting Abby - unless of course she decides she just really likes it in there and doesn't want to come out when it's time.  Let's all hope this doesn't happen for my sake and for the sake of the poor husband.  I don't think he wants to put up with me being pregnant any longer than he absolutely has to!  I also found out this week that work is going to let me have 10 weeks off instead of the 8 that we had talked about when I took this job in May so I was pretty excited about that - 8 weeks just really didn't sound long enough to me, but I was going to make it work.

Food cravings:  Salads are still on the top of the list this week.  I guess she likes her veggies after all.

What I'm looking forward to:  I sound like a broken record, but I really want to decide for sure what to do on the walls in the nursery (I keep 2nd guessing myself - I really just need to make a decision and stick with it) and we leave for NYC in 9 days - SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!

Happy Monday, all!  Have a great rest of your day!

That's retarded. We went to a music festival in downtown Nashville last year. We had a great time, but we were just walking through... he had a game to play that night. I freakin love that city!
