Tax Free Fashion Friday

Happy Friday!  Oh I can't wait until 5:30 rolls around - we have nothing planned this weekend at all which makes me one happy girl!  I will tell you that I plan to stay far away from anywhere that you can shop, that;s for sure!  Why, you might be asking...well, you see, the great state of Tennessee has a tax free holiday weekend once a year and this happens to be that weekend.  This also marks the last weekend before school starts for metro Nashville.  Put those 2 together and you get a god-awful shopping experience. 

Now, I will admit that I actually did run over to the mall today during lunch because I needed to finally break down and buy maternity work pants (I've been squeezing into my regular ones, but the buttons are really starting to become quite uncomfortable) - this was the absolute worst decision I could have made!  I thought that since it was Friday it wouldn't be nearly as bad as it would have been had I waited until I got off work (and in all honesty it probably wasn't) - let's just say that I regretted my decision the moment I walked through the doors.  There were people EVERYWHERE!  And I won't even mention the fact that the store I was in only had one cash register (really?) and the girl in front of me had about 162 different items that she, her mom, and her grandmother were all purchasing so they were trying to separate it into 3 equal parts (again, really?).  Despite my frustrations, I did end up getting 3 pairs of dress pants, 2 tops, and a skirt - mission accomplished.  Then I high-tailed it out of that place before I had time to kill someone as quickly as I could and vowed that I will not return to any shopping establishment for the remainder of the weekend!  In honor of my recent shopping trip, I leave you with some stuff that I am absolutely loving right now and am using every ounce of willpower I have not to order online right this very minute.
